POSITION PURPOSE:
As the Marketing Manager, you will be charged with both providing overall project management of selected marketing campaigns and subject matter expertise on lead generation and web promotion. You will work as a team with the management team and sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Support divisional business goals by leading the effort to create and coordinate promotional campaigns that drive targeted leads for new business.
  • Ensure that all marketing tasks consistently incorporate brand strategies and messaging across a broad range of media.
  • Projects may include: Email campaigns, webinars, content development for press releases, newsletters, articles, brochures, presentations and/or other collateral to support business development and sales efforts.
  • Implementation of overall design and messaging for market segment.
  • Writing specific internal/external customer communication.
  • Specific market research projects and/or competitive analysis.
  • Coordination and participation in media relations.
  • Creation of materials to support specific customer meetings.
  • Incorporation of booth messaging for any relevant trade shows.
  • Update web site and any electronic communications as needed with product information.
  • Ability to reshuffle current tasks and pitch in on larger and/or urgent projects as needed.
  • Maintain good communication with product management and sales.
  • Serve as a positive member of the Merge eClinical team.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in lead generation.
  • Experience in a healthcare software company and/or experience working in business to business sales environment.
  • Knowledge of the clinical development process.
  • Experience in working with product management and new market development.
  • Project management
  • Balancing multiple priorities
  • Creativity.
  • Analytical skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience.
  • Experience working within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or CRO industry.
  • Experience in campaign management, event planning, industry trade shows, and planned marketing events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Portfolio of writing samples required.
  • Ability to translate and/or present technical information for less technical audiences.
  • Electronic marketing experience.
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and Dreamweaver, or a willingness to be trained
  • High competency in organizational skills, multitasking, and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:
This position may require travel up to 10%.
