Solutions Sales Manager

Merge Healthcare, a leading market provider of automated healthcare data and diagnostic workflow solutions, is seeking a Solutions Sales Manager to work from our Milwaukee office. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and highly competitive professional.

POSITION PURPOSE:
A Solution Sales Manager at Merge Healthcare-eCommerce promotes and sells healthcare informatics software which includes; PACS, integrated web solutions and corresponding hardware to physician groups, Integrated Heath Networks and Outpatient Imaging Center owners. The individual must possess the ability to execute a Solution Selling strategy at the C level and be able to leverage web-based lead generation initiatives to consistently improve results.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from field marketing, direct marketing, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, installed base, and other sources;
  • Work closely with Director of eCommerce to create and execute lead generation and resulting sales;
  • Analyzes customer's needs and recommends solutions that best meet customer's requirements;
  • Emphasizes scalable features such as flexibility, cost, capacity, and economy of operation;
  • Is able to reach a consultative level of sell with the customer;
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained;
  • Successfully demo solutions with customers via web presentation tools;
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules;
  • Consults with Director of eCommerce, logistics, support and other key groups to ensure successful implementation of desired solution for the customer;
  • Prepares reports of business transactions, maintains up to date and accurate account profiles and keeps expense accounts;
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database;
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems and ensures high degree of customer satisfaction; and
  • Attends national trade shows.

  • Proven ability to sell medical information and imaging solutions, and/or medical devices;
  • Strong Solution Sales Skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • A consultative, team selling approach;
  • Self directed and self motivated;
  • Good PC skills;
  • Has experience selling at the C level; and
  • Quantitative skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years or more of proven selling experience; and
BS degree or equivalent experience.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:
This position may require travel up to 10%.
