Merge Healthcare, a leading market provider of automated healthcare data and diagnostic workflow solutions, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to work from our downtown Chicago office. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated professional who is highly competitive and willing to take a hands-on approach.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Inside Sales function is responsible for driving new lead generation and assisting the outside sales force with necessary support. Primarily via telephone, this function will explore needs/pains of potential customers for the Frontiers solution which would be transitioned to field sales for further cultivation and focus.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
At the highest level the Inside Sales Specialist is expected to:
- Cultivate new leads via telephone
- Work in conjunction with and assist the outside sales specialists on various phases of the sales cycle
- Opportunity qualification through detailed dialogue with prospective customers
- Technically validate potential customer opportunities for viability
- Develop a strategy and specific tactics for anticipating and creating customer demand for AIMS solutions
- Demonstrate to the Customer the value associated with implementing Frontiers and cultivating the telephone discussions into on-site meetings
- Work with and support outside sales with customer meetings, presentations, logistics, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree or minimum of 3 years related work experience if no degree
- Minimum of one year experience generating sales leads via telephone
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate value via clinical understanding of the AIMS space and ROI
- Demonstrate strong strategic planning skills and performance track record
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated financial and business analysis skills
- Training/coaching skills
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
IT knowledgeable with respect to network, security, PC management, redundancy/backup systems, web deployment and general hardware configuration and scalability
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
This position may require travel up to 10%.
