A major ultrasound vendor wanted a fully integrated digital image management system with DICOM network connectivity.

Merge OEM's team provided a complete system solution. The capabilities included high quality image acquisition, advanced study data management, reporting and a full suite of DICOM connectivity features that are IHE compliant.

Digital image acquisition functionality
Merge OEM implemented a solution capable of single frame and streaming capture of a real time digital video stream from the ultrasound display. All captured data is stored in the appropriate DICOM format.

Study data Management and Review
Patient studies can be archived, restored and
reviewed directly on the modality workstation. The system allows archiving studies to DICOM PACS or optical media devices.
